Kalinthia R. Dillard Photo  Kalinthia Dillard became Inspector General of Palm Beach County, Florida, on June 23, 2026. After graduating from Clemson University and the Florida State University College of Law, she moved to Palm Beach County to clerk at the Fourth District Court of Appeal. She later practiced civil litigation in private practice and then served as a Senior Attorney for the School District of Palm Beach County. Ms. Dillard is certified through the Association of Inspectors General as an Inspector General, Inspector General-Counsel, Inspector General-Auditor, and Inspector General-Investigator, and she holds a Leadership Certificate from Cornell University.

  She currently serves as Chair of The Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Professionalism and The Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee for the 15th Judicial Circuit (Division D). She previously chaired The Florida Bar’s Education Law, Law Related Education, Professional Ethics, and Constitutional Judiciary Committees, as well as the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Bench-Bar Conference and Professionalism Committee.

  Ms. Dillard is a past president of the Board of Directors of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches; the F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association; the West Palm Beach Chapter of The Links, Incorporated; the YWCA of Palm Beach County; and the Virgil Hawkins-Florida Chapter National Bar Association. She is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County (Class of 2016) and Leadership Florida Cornerstone (Class 39).

  Her leadership and service have earned her numerous recognitions, including the Law Related Education Association Attorney of the Year, PBC Women’s Chamber Giraffe Award, PBC Chamber Athena Award, Girl Scouts of SE FL’s Emerald Award, Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Women in Leadership Award, ICABA Woman of Impact Award, Women Empowering Women in Development’s Ten Toes Down Award; and the PBC Bar Association’s Professionalism Award. She was recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as a Legal Elite-Government. Most recently, she was recognized as one of Legacy Magazine’s Most Powerful & Influential Business Leaders for 2026, and honored by the F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association with its Legacy Award for her leadership, service to the legal profession, and longstanding contributions to the Palm Beach County community.

  Ms. Dillard has authored numerous articles and teaches ethics and professionalism to entities nationwide.
